Questions students ask
Which Biology courses does the app cover?
AQA (7402 A Level, 7401 AS) and OCR Biology A (H420 A Level, H020 AS). Choose AS or A Level in the app. OCR Biology B, Edexcel and Cambridge courses are not included.
Does this replace practical work and longer answers?
The original multiple-choice questions practise knowledge, diagrams, data and calculations. They do not mark extended answers or replace required practicals. Practise those with your teacher and the official board resources.
How does the AS filter work?
Choosing AS hides A Level-only subtopics and questions, including inside the topic and full mock tests. A Level shows the full course for the chosen board. Your question progress is kept when you change your choice.
What can I try for free?
The first subtopic of each section is free, with mocks drawn from those questions and the first category of key-fact cards. This website publishes exactly the union of both boards’ free question IDs, with explanations, and notes for every subtopic. A subscription or one-off lifetime purchase unlocks the rest of the app.
What are the key-fact cards?
Short Learn this cards with definitions, processes and the equations your board expects you to know. Board and course labels show where each card applies; equations your board provides in the exam are labelled so you know to use them rather than memorise them.
Which devices are supported?
A Level Biology Revision is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad and on Google Play for Android, with the same questions, notes, key-fact cards and mock tests.
